2025! This is the year that Global Clinical supply is targeting for completing the evolution our systems into a “digital enabled” landscape of 300+ associates. Join a team of globally collaborative colleagues at the ‘Global Clinical Supply (GCS)’ function to support clinical trials from Phase 1 to approval and be a key interface between Technical Research & Development (TRD) teams and the Clinical teams! At GCS, we aspire to become a data and digital powered, resourceful , agile organization to deliver more products to more patients efficiently, through empowered and highly capable teams. The Information Governance Manager (IGM) will coordinate the setup, maintenance and development of the Global Clinical Supply (GCS) Information management framework, to ensure appropriate behavior in the valuation, creation, storage, use, archiving and deletion of information. They will contribute to establishment of the Supply Chain Master Data Analytics framework and relative IT solutions, integrated with the other functions of the TRD organization. This role is accountable for enforcement and maintenance of the agreed process once established.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Define implementation of the data modelling process including the use of TRD specific tools (e.g. Accurids)
• Apply external data standards and references (e.g. IDMP) and actively engage in external committees to shape them.
• Create, maintain, measure and own the framework for data asset quality and integrity
• Prepare and facilitate training for the relevant roles in the TRD Data Domains
• Acts as role model for Novartis values and behaviors
• Define and document the processes and supporting tools for data modelling in full alignment with enterprise processes and FAIR principles
• Where necessary provide the necessary documentation (SOP’s, WI’s etc.) to support qualification and use of the TRD Information Management System (TIMS) platform for GxP processes.
• Prepare and maintain training material and role curriculum for relevant data governance roles (e.g. Data Steward, Date Modeler, Data Quality Expert, Master Data Manager)

Minimum Requirements

• 13+ years of experience in business intelligence, advanced analytics or related, Experience in large scale master data management activities preferred
• 5 years of practical experience in chemical / pharmaceutical industry or > 5 years of experience in field of expertise
• Recognized expertise in related field and good understanding about adjacent areas. Very good knowledge about the Drug Development processes
• Thorough knowledge about project management. Solid knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g. GMP, HSE etc.) and Novartis specific standards.
• Leadership experience of cross-functional problem solving and idea generation activities
• Strong communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Advanced coaching skills
• Advanced presentation and facilitation skills in front of larger audiences. Excellent leadership skills
