The ideal applicant will possess a high affinity to advance the program's academic mission and strategic initiatives including a commitment to teaching and learning across the educational spectrum. All faculty are required to develop and achieve a consistent scholarly agenda with both tenure and non-tenure tracks available depending on experience and research capacity. Competitive start-up packages may be available based on research expertise and career goals.

This position is a full-time 12-month faculty appointment with teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities consistent with the mission, philosophy, and needs of the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at Creighton University as well as accreditation standards as set forth by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). Candidates must be eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in Nebraska and have some level of clinical practice experience. An academic doctorate degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, or equivalent) is preferred, but not required. A record of, or emerging potential for, generating peer reviewed scholarship and/or grantsmanship is preferred. This individual will be expected to contribute to laboratory teaching to entry level physical therapist students, course coordination, student advising, teamwork, and scholarship. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience.
