Job Summary The University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center and Department of Internal Medicine/Division of Medical Oncology/Hematologist is seeking a Board-Certified/Board Eligible Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join the Department of Internal Medicine.

This position will engage in clinical and/or basic research and care of medical oncology and hematology patients. This position will be based at King's Daughters Medical Center, a 465 bed regional referral center located in Ashland, Kentucky. We seek a clinician focused on quality patient care and patient-oriented research. The faculty member will support the clinical research mission of the Markey Cancer Center with opportunities to develop and supervision of clinical protocols, accrual of patients and participation in regulatory oversight programs for clinical research.

The faculty member will represent the University of Kentucky in a professional manner as an active member of the medical staff. These responsibilities include active participation in medical staff affairs, adherence to evidence based practice standards and a strong commitment to high standards of customer service.
