Global Internship Program:

Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2023 Global Internship Program as a Research & Development Intern for Occupational Testing Services located Research Triangle Park, NC, USA.

As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines, and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. In addition to department work, we support your professional development and career exploration through program workshops, leadership speakers, employee resource group introductions, new hire panel discussions and small group 'coffee chats'.

About the Team:

OTS R&D is as decentralized team that supports forensic and clincical toxological testing with a range of services such assay development and improvements, automation, and process improvements.

Internship Assignment Summary:
  • Familiarize yourself with processes used by production used for extractions, LC-MS analysis, and data review
  • Assist in determining desired internship project related to LC-MS assay development/improvement, automation, or other, process analysis
  • Meet with R&D and production leadership throughout internship
  • Present presentation of completed work to R&D and others


Education/Qualifications/Skills:
  • Working towards bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or similar field
  • Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
  • Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
