Semiconductor Product Engineer
Position Description
The semiconductor product engineer position is responsible for technical development and customer support within Elemental Scientific's fast-growing semiconductor Scout and Radian product groups. Candidates should have a strong analytical background in physical sciences or engineering. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who will continue innovation in world-leading in situ analytical process control instrumentation supporting semiconductor manufacturing.

Position Description
The semiconductor product engineer position is responsible for technical development and customer support within Elemental Scientific's fast-growing semiconductor Scout and Radian product groups. Candidates should have a strong analytical background in physical sciences or engineering. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who will continue innovation in world-leading in situ analytical process control instrumentation supporting semiconductor manufacturing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop methods to determine trace metal and organic impurities on silicon semiconductor wafers
- Perform automated analyses of semiconductor process chemicals
- Provide application support to semiconductor fabs and ultrapure chemical supply chain
- Operate analytical tools, including robotic systems, QTOF mass spectrometers, ICPMS, and other analytical instruments
- Prepare and analyze samples and review and interpret test results
- Travel to domestic and international customer sites for installations and training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical sciences
- Logical and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work both within a group and independently
- Dependable and responsible
- Possess strong computer and communication skills
- Ability to travel
