Position SummarySinclair Community College has an enrollment of approximately 23,000 students. Sinclair is currently seeking individuals interested in a full-time, Annually Contracted Faculty (ACF) teaching position at the Dayton campus.
This position has an anticipated start date of August 2023.
Principal AccountabilitiesPlan and organize instruction in ways which maximize student learning
Meet scheduled classes in accordance with College policy
Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to promote student success
Modify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student's needs
Employ available instructional technology when appropriate
Evaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promote learning
Maintain accurate records of student progress
Exercise stewardship of College facilities and materials
Attend departmental, divisional and College meetings and events as feasible
Collaborate with other disciplines and participate in Inter Professional Education
Maintain familiarity with College goals, mission and long-range plans
Conduct acute and critical care clinical instruction at local hospitals
RequirementsRegistered Respiratory Therapist (current RRT credential) with a current license to practice in the State of Ohio required
Minimum of Associate's degree in a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
A minimum of 2 years of critical care clinical education experience required
ACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialist) credential required
Teaching experience in an accredited Respiratory Care program preferred
ACLS, PALS and NRP provider and/or instructor preferred
