The role and mission of LSCO places major emphasis upon the teaching component. Therefore, the instructional faculty position at LSCO has an emphasis on teaching, scholarship, and service. Essential job functions include but are not limited to: teaching, professional development and pedagogy advancement, and service.
The ideal candidate must hold a master's degree or higher in the teaching discipline or hold a master's degree in any discipline, with 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline. College teaching experience is preferred.
This position is security-sensitive and thereby subject to the provisions of the Texas Education Code §51.215.
Salary: depends on education + experience; State of Texas benefits + Retirement.
