Job Purpose:
The Strategy & Operations Specialist (Country) is accountable to support the implementation and execution of strategy, communication, change management, key priorities, and function deliverables in the country. Responsible to support the generating of business insights to drive productivity and provides strategic input for the Country S&O Manager, S&O Head and the country LT. The degree of responsibility given to the S&O Specialist shall reflect their experience, and level of contribution which they can make to the country, for example:
• Provide the full-range professional, reliable, and high-quality data analysis and report to Head of Strategy and Operations as well as SSO China/Japan LT for strategy development, decision making and resource management where appropriate.
• Serve as SME of systems used for Clinical and PMS operations to support team from technique perspective. Act as a bridge between Global and Country for problem solving and new system implementation.
• Coordinate with GDD China / Japan Line Function (LF) or SSO Hub/Global to track function level initiatives progress, organize organization events/meetings as well as support strategy implementation where needed.
• Prepare organizational announcement and cascade down messages where appropriate, especially act as change advocate for any culture events/projects during transformation.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Clinical and PMS reporting and data analysis
1. Be familiar with the data source of each system (Book of Work, IMPACT, SENSE, HORIZON, TMOmeter, etc.) and provide full-range professional, reliable and high-quality data analysis for decision making or productivity enhancement. (monthly dashboard, data required for business case).
2. Conduct secondary research and leverage Novartis resource for data insights and strategy development with collaboration with GDD China / Japan S&O/SSO Hub S&O
-SME of systems used for Clinical studies and PMS
3. Contribute to implement of global and local system and process in China / Japan. Maintain necessary tracker, share point, etc. as requested.
4. Generate dashboard or report on regular base for management (KPI dashboard, etc.)
-SSO event/initiative planner & tracker
5. Prepare SSO events/meetings with detailed budget, plan as well as execution.
6. Maintain necessary tracker to monitor initiative/project progress to ensure timeline and delivery. Escalate issue and risk when needed.
-Communicator/Change advocator
7. Maintain SSO Share Point, Website, etc. where applicable
8. Support implementation of country-specific communication, transformation initiatives and SSO evolutions incl. culture and mindset change

Minimum Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Office Automation or related fields. Fluent English (oral and written). Country language is advance
2. High reliability and strong work ethics; customer-orientation, good communication skills
3. Proactive and self-motivated
4. Excellent computer skill, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint
