Position Summary We are seeking a Research Assistant to contribute to both basic science and clinical research activities in the Division of Acute Care Surgery (Trauma, Emergency General Surgery, and Surgical Critical Care). The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting high-quality research, developing a sophisticated understanding of trauma and acute care surgery, and effectively communicating research findings through presentations and publications. Key responsibilities will encompass planning and implementing a variety of research projects, in addition to documenting and evaluating these activities. The Research Assistant will also be required to ensure adherence to best clinical practices and research protocols. This position offers an opportunity for candidates to deepen their knowledge in trauma/acute care surgery, while playing a vital role in advancing research within our division. Required Qualifications MD, DO, or equivalent Supplemental Qualifications Experience with statistical data analysis, clinical research process, clinical data collection, surgical experience with animals.
