Position Summary The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Public Health seeks a full-time Assistant, Associate or Full Professor, with expertise and background in evaluation, quality improvement, and policy. As a part of this position, the candidate will have the opportunity to create and launch a Metrics and Evaluation Center at the COPH, in addition to providing input on education and training for students. The candidate should have experiences that set them up to 1) create and launch an innovative evaluation center, 2) build a diverse team to provide evaluation consultation, technical assistance, and fee for service to partners throughout the region, 3) develop a sustainable funding model through grants, contracts, and fee for service, and 4) provide leadership to COPH in evaluation, quality improvement and metrics. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong record of extramural funding through grants and contracts. Required Qualifications Candidates should hold an earned doctoral degree (i.e. PhD, DrPH, ScD) in public health, social and behavioral health, education, or another relevant field. Substantial evaluation, public health, and research experience are required.
Demonstrated excellence in evaluation, funding, and publication.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching.
Actively seeking candidates whose teaching, research, scholarship, or service may contribute to our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Supplemental Qualifications Currently funded research from federal agencies and/or foundations.
Experience managing and securing large evaluation projects.
Ability to meaningfully contribute to health equity through their research, teaching, and/or service.
