• Valid Iowa teaching license with 7-12 Science endorsements.
• Develops and implements classroom procedures and routine that support high expectations for learning
• Experience with project-based learning in the science classroom with emphasis in planning and executing a variety of labs
• Aligns classroom instruction with local standards and district curriculum
• Understands and uses instructional strategies that are appropriate to the content
• Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in adjusting instruction to meet student needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, parents, and community
