Summary
NFC is seeking qualified and enthusiastic Adjunct Nursing Instructors for theory, lab, and simulations on campus and off-site clinical rotations.
Multiple positions are available in the following programs:
RN Program
LPN Program
RN-BSN Program (online)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
(These essential job functions are not to be construed as a complete statement of all duties performed. Employees will be required to perform other job-related marginal duties as required.)
Minimum Qualifications
RN Program: MSN preferred. BSN with a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience. Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Must have a clear and unencumbered Florida or multi-state Nursing license.
LPN Program: BSN preferred. ASRN with a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
RN-BSN Program: Doctorate in Nursing preferred. MSN with a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience. Teaching experience is preferred but not required. Online teaching experience is preferred but not required.
Supplemental Information
This is a part time teaching assignment. Adjunct Instructors for this position can earn between $30.00 and $35.00 per hour based on qualifications.

- Prepares, instructs, and grades all coursework. Ensures that appropriate testing and grading procedures are used.
- Effectively uses oral and written communication skills.
- Maintains regularly scheduled hours to provide instruction for assigned class meeting times, dates, and locations.
- Maintains records of student attendance.
- Maintains timely compliance with clerical and administrative responsibilities.
- Keeps current in the program area taught.
- Assists in College recruitment and retention efforts, as appropriate.
- Other related duties as assigned.
