Major Accountabilities (may include but not limited to):
As a Data Lifecycle and Data Architecture Team and Thought Leader at NIBR, you will
•play a vital role in ensuring the integration, integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our vast and diverse data assets
•be responsible for and contribute to developing and implementing data lifecycle and data architecture strategies, and data governance practices
•be driving continuous improvement in data quality and data lifecycle to enhance data FAIRification and landscaping and explore novel techniques and technologies
•combine your passion for good data practices with your technical expertise, your interest in exploring areas outside of traditional data management approaches, a comprehension of data-centric principles, to contribute to our overall drug discovery objectives and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization
•serve the team as an inspirational leader, nurturing a collaborative team environment while being supported to further your own growth and development.
This opportunity is located at the Novartis Cambridge (MA) site and will not have the ability to be located remotely. Relocation assistance may be available.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $158,400 and $237,600 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/23 through 12/31/23, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Minimum Requirements
What will you bring to the role
•Masters degree or 7+ years of experience in Information Systems, Data Management, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
•Proven experience in a leading data management role in life science, preferably in a fast-paced and data-intensive environment.
•Proficiency in data integration techniques, data lifecycle management, data architecture, and ideally semantic technologies.
•Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior team members and stakeholders.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
•Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with emerging trends and advancements in data management.
