The Heider College of Business at Creighton University invites applications and nominations for a non-tenure track full-time position beginning in January 2024. Qualified candidates will have a masters or an earned doctorate in: 1) an information technology field with a teaching emphasis in introductory information systems or analytics courses; or 2) a computational field such as statistics, analytics or operations with a teaching emphasis in statistics, analytics, or operations management courses. Professional certifications and relevant professional experience are welcomed. Candidates should have a teaching and service record that supports appointment at the Instructor of Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA) level.
The teaching load is eight courses per academic year with summer teaching available, if desired. The College seeks a balanced teacher-servant with a commitment to excellent teaching and a desire to assist with committee service, advising, and student organization activity leadership. The University actively supports faculty research, should the candidate wish to establish a record of scholarship as well. In addition, the Department expects meaningful interaction with professionals in the field as opportunities arise.

BIA is part of an 18-person combined Accounting and BIA department. The ACC/BIA Department is accredited, along with the rest of the Heider College, by the AACSB. The BIA group has eight tenure-track positions, and one endowed chair. There are currently two full-time instructors with an opening at this time for a third full-time instructor.
