West Virginia University Health Science Center is currently accepting applications for a Part-time Temporary (Hybrid) Telehealth Assistant with Health Affairs Institute
About the Opportunity
Provide clinical monitoring for a telehealth intervention targeting Medicaid members. Health Affairs Institute frequently engages in collaborative efforts with the WV Department of Health and Human Resources (WV DHHR) and other state and nonprofit partners that hold a mission to improve the health of West Virginians.
What you'll do:
* Effectively communicate with an interdisciplinary project team, comprised of members from the WVU School of Nursing, School of Public Health, School of Medicine, and the WVU Health Affairs Institute.
* Coordinate with members of the clinical team to conduct biweekly telephone assessments of pain and mental health status.
* Examine remote patient monitoring data by collaborating directly with a telehealth vendor and the clinical team.
* Coordinate care with members of the clinical team.
* Assist with cleaning and analyzing data under close supervision.
* Assist with literature reviews.
* Assists with data visualization and report writing.
* Attends and participates in project team meetings.
* Adheres to all Health Affairs policies and procedures.
Pay Grade: 12
Length of Assignment: Approximately 8.5 months
* Associate's degree in nursing or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* BSN or CNA preferred.
* Six (6) months related experience
* Completed HIPAA training. (preferred)
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to perform assessments using audio/visual equipment.
* Ability to track and detect health trends using quantitative and qualitative data
* Ability to document in an Electronic Health Record.
* Ability to use data management systems.
* Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel.
