Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment: Perform thorough patient assessments to determine their condition, needs, and readiness for procedures. This includes reviewing medical histories and current medications.
Preparation: Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including obtaining informed consent, explaining the procedure, and ensuring they are comfortable.
Monitor Patients: Continuously monitor patients during procedures, assessing vital signs, ECGs, and providing emotional support.
Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by the physician, which may include sedatives, analgesics, and anti-arrhythmics.
Assist in Procedures: Assist cardiologists and other healthcare professionals during diagnostic and interventional procedures. This includes handling catheters, guidewires, and monitoring equipment.
