Description

The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD) seeks a full-time (40-hour week) Licensed Practical Nurse I or Public Health Nurse I for the Teen and Adult Services division. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating and coordinating health services for individuals and/or aggregate groups in various socio-economic conditions in the clinic, clients' home, or other community settings. Services provided by the Licensed Practical Nurse or Public Health Nurse include STD/HIV/TB testing and management, Family Planning, Hepatitis, and vaccine distribution.

Licensed Practical Nurse I:

Graduation from a recognized program in practical nursing, a current and unrestricted licensure for practical nursing in the State of Illinois, and a current IL Driver's license is required. The starting annual salary for a Licensed Practical Nurse I is $38,459 for a 40-hour week.

Public Health Nurse I:

An Associate's Degree or diploma from an accredited school of nursing, a current and unrestricted RN license in the State of Illinois, and a current IL Driver's license is required. The starting annual salary for a Public Health Nurse I is $58,198 for a 40-hour week.
