Administrative Nurse Lead I - PTU/PACU - Jules Stein Eye Institute

Description The AN I (Lead Nurse) is responsible for assisting with clinical management and administrative coordination of the nursing unit. The position is a combination of clinical (direct care) and administrative responsibilities. Qualifications We're seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with the following:
* current valid California RN license, required
* BSN or MSN, required
* 2 years of acute nursing experience required
* PTU/PACU or Critical Care experience preferred
* Eye experience preferred
* BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
* ACLS from American Heart Association required
* PALS from American Heart Association required
* Pediatric experience preferred
* CCRN, CAPA, or CPAN preferred
* Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis
* Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessments
* Ability to develop, implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staff
* Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire.
