The Department of Economics at the University of Miami is recruiting a tenure eligible /tenure track professor for the Fall of 2024. Candidates must have completed a Ph.D. or expect to complete a Ph.D. in Economics or related areas prior to beginning employment. Duties include: Instruction of 3-4 courses (9-12 credit), lecturing, leading class discussions and conducting other teaching activities during scheduled classes; creating, administering and grading using appropriate assessment methods; holding office hours and providing additional support for students outside the class time periods; calculating and submitting grades for all students; collaborating with the chair and faculty of the Economics Department to create coursework and support the department's mission; following established expectations and protocols for the department and to stay current in the field. Regular Faculty are expected to conduct research in their associated field.
