Position Summary

Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Indiana University Health Physicians are seeking a Pediatric General Surgeon to join the Division of Pediatric Surgery. This physician will focus on clinical care and health science research, and will join the Pediatric Surgery Group in Indianapolis at Riley Hospital for Children along with two other hospitals and 11 off-site locations. This surgical group is team oriented, patient centered and energetic while being focused on education and achieving the best outcomes.

This is a full-time position that will work collaboratively with a team of 9 Surgeons and 12 Advanced Practice Providers. The position will have block scheduling with shared call amongst Surgeons as well as some clinic work at nearby outreach locations. There will be routine procedures for pediatric general surgery and trauma, 10-20 procedures weekly, and protected research time towards pediatric surgery patient populations. Salary and academic / clinical rank will be commensurate with experience.

Basic Qualifications
  • MD/DO or equivalent education
  • Completion of Pediatric General Surgery Fellowship
  • American Board of Surgery BC/BE
  • Experience in health science research
  • Able to obtain IN licensure
