  • The Process Research and Development department of Client Research Laboratories has a research chemist position available in the Boston, Massachusetts research facility. It is a laboratory-based role to support reaction discovery and process development.
  • Client is seeking a candidate with experience in organic chemistry, organic synthesis, methodology/catalysis (including chemocatalysis, biocatalysis and heterogeneous catalysis), total synthesis, physical organic chemistry, or flow chemistry, along with a proven track record of solving problems.
  • Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • A PhD in Chemistry with 0-1 year experience or MS degree in chemistry with a minimum of 4 years or a Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience in organic synthesis including synthetic methodology, catalysis, and / or total synthesis along with a proven track record of solving problems.
Skills and Experience:
  • Significant experience in synthesis, purification and analytical characterization of organic compounds including HPLC, MS, and NMR
  • Experience in high-throughput reaction design and execution
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team environment
