Examples of research areas include the use of digital health technologies for assessment and building the conceptual foundation for human behavior change, as well as development, evaluation, and/or implementation of interventions using serious games, apps, XR interventions, texting apps, conversational agents, and/or integration of tools into electronic health records. Other relevant areas are welcome as well.

We seek candidates who share the department's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. We particularly encourage applications from a broad and diverse range of faculty candidates interested in supporting diversity and inclusion within our research community, as well as those focused on advancing health equity and resolving existing inequities. Applications at Assistant or Associate Professor will be considered.

Appointed faculty will have exceptional opportunities to conduct cutting-edge research, collaborate with multidisciplinary faculty, and work in close partnership with healthcare systems (e.g., University of Utah, FQHCs) and community-based agencies in Salt Lake City, the state of Utah, and the Intermountain West.
