What you should know:

* The candidate will aspire to push innovations in engineering education; help develop curriculum and other programmatic initiatives; be comfortable teaching larger (100+) groups of students; have a strong technical background in a chemical or biological engineering or related field; and be able to teach a range of core chemical and biological engineering courses.
What we require:
* Candidate must have earned a Ph.D. in chemical and biological engineering or a related field.

* For a candidate to be considered for appointment to the Teaching Professor rank, the applicant must also have an additional 3 years (9 years total) of teaching chemical and biological engineering at a higher education level or comparable experience, and the candidate must be able to demonstrate a "record of distinction" based on departmental and college criteria.
