About the role:

We are recruiting a postdoctoral researcher with a background in molecular biology or genomics. We are broadly interested in how genes and environment interact to generate behavioral variation among individuals, and we produce a wide range of genomic data, from DNA and RNAseq to high-throughput functional genomic screens. Though not a requirement for this position, interested candidates will have the opportunity to develop their own, independent research project in our group.

In this position, you will: perform a variety of research and/or laboratory tasks and experiments under general supervision. Analyze data and record the results and conclusions of laboratory experiments. Interpret analytical data and prepare research reports. You may assist in the establishment of experimental protocols. Associate appointments are tied to a research program directed by the Investigator.

About Department/Lab:

The Kocher Lab at Princeton University studies how genes and environment interact to generate behavioral variation. We often compare the genomes and the brains of social and solitary bee species to better understand how the 'social brain' develops and evolves. More information can be found here: www.kocherlab.com
