ARL-EuTech Scientific has immediate job opportunities at all experience levels, for analytical chemists who want to be part of our dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding team in our organization in Mount Olive, NJ.


Confer with scientists to conduct analyses of research projects, interpret test results, or develop nonstandard tests.
Responsible for logically organizing and analyzing data, and presenting results in written or oral form to peers and supervisors.
Ability to use the technical background to deliver testing techniques balancing competing and shifting priorities
Excellent knowledge of analytical instrumentation and wet chemistry.
Maintain all analytical instrumentation, supplies, reagents, and necessary reference/standards
Interpret results by applying knowledge of science area, propose conclusions and follow-up requirements.
Ability to use the technical background to deliver the above testing techniques on a high volume of samples, balancing competing and shifting priorities
Assist in analytical method development and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) preparation as needed.
Assist in research studies
Execute other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Techniques: HPLC, GC, GC/MS, LC/MS, UV/Vis, ICP/MS
Strong command of analytical and physical testing methods
Detail and results-oriented.
Must be a skilled verbal communicator
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows. Excel, MS word
Candidates are expected to be self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively in a team environment with scientists


The candidate should demonstrate the following background, skills, abilities, qualities, and availability:

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a closely related field.
Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of in-depth knowledge and advanced knowledge of laboratory techniques and advanced understanding of laboratory procedures
Analytical chemistry experience required; experience with HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, fiber analyzer, and FTIR preferred
Knowledge of metric systems, scientific applications, experimental design, and data evaluation
A clear understanding of the importance of maintaining a clean workspace by following approved procedures and laboratory regulations for testing, health, and safety.
Critical and analytical thinker
Ability to work in GMP/GLP environment
An excellent ability to keep calm under pressure and stay focused to successfully fulfill responsibilities
Ability to maintain and build team morale at all times

Be able to lift at least 50lbs.

Able to work within a schedule that allows for testing to be completed and reported on time.
Must be able to work 5 days a week onsite (This is not a remote work position.)
Available to work weekends whenever necessary

Good understanding of laboratory information systems and laboratory equipment.
Abide by ARL's drug testing, background check, and drug-free policies.

Be willing and able to start working in a temporary facility in Highland Park, New Jersey, and then transfer permanently to Mount Olive, New Jersey, once the laboratory is completed.
