YOUR ROLE

  • Daily on-site presence at customer plants and engineering centres supporting launch activities and running production.
  • First point of contact at the plant for all technical matters.
  • Performing quality checks and supporting supply planning.
  • Daily close cooperation with production, engineering and product development team.
  • Development and maintenance of a network to the customer and other partners.
  • Main technical interface to the customer.
  • Understand key technical customer requirements and specifications.
Additional job responsibilities:
  • Get technical and commercial approvals on future battery applications for Henkel products.
  • Project Management to drive projects from first design discussion to prototyping to approval to production scale-up phase and first sales.
  • Involve internal stakeholders at Henkel, e.g. research and development team or application engineering to get support for achieving the technical customer approval.
  • Leverage your battery expertise across the Henkel e-Mobility Team

YOUR SKILLS
  • Automotive and manufacturing engineering background, ideally 3-5 Years in B2B
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in manufacturing engineering or chemical engineering would be an advantage
  • Expertise / understanding of battery components, chemistry, and designs.
  • Strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on mentality
  • Experience in working effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
  • You are resident in the West Midlands (close to Wolverhampton/Birmingham) or willing to relocate.
