YOUR ROLE

  • Work in the APAC product development team to drive innovation.
  • Work closely with global and regional customers, supplier partners.
  • Work closely with cross-functional and commercial team in developing innovative technology, state of art new products, and solutions for the sports & fashion market.
  • Contribute to new technology, digitalization, automation and sustainability. Drive innovation projects meeting stakeholders and customers expectation with can-do attitude.

  • Responsibilities
  • Develop high quality and innovative products to meet SBU strategic & financial goal.
  • Lead Sports & Fashion innovation projects independently.
  • Identify new technology trends. Drive strategic important project for achieving high impact business objectives.
  • Develop and implement processes, testing standard for new product validation.
  • Strengthen Henkel's IP through patent development in area of competence.
  • Participate in site's safety and/or 5S programs and ensure compliance to Henkel lab operating condition.
  • Support operation on product scale-up, process optimization and quality.

YOUR SKILLS
  • PhD or master's degree in chemistry, polymer science or material science, with 3-5 year industry experience.
  • Know-how of upstream to downstream in footwear manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Experience with water-based polyurethane technology is preferred.
  • Fluent verbal & written communication in English & Chinese.
