Position Summary The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking an exceptional scholar candidate for a tenure-leading faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor. This position will reside in the Olson Center for Women's Health. The preferred candidate will have active research programs that apply innovative multidisciplinary approaches to the study of reproductive sciences including ovarian function, developmental biology, and uterine and placental biology/pathology. We especially encourage applications from faculty candidates whose research is translational and has high potential for collaborative initiatives with clinicians and other researchers across the University. The successful candidate will play a role in developing the activities of the Olson Center for Women's Health and the newly created Nebraska Center for Women's Health Research (NCWHR). Candidates will also be expected to contribute to the Department's teaching mission and to mentor graduate students, medical students, residents and clinical fellows. Candidates must have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree, postdoctoral experience, a solid publication record, and evidence of ability to develop an externally funded research program.
