Position Summary AMBULATORY INTERNAL MEDICINE OPPORTUNITY IN THE HEART OF THE MIDWEST The University of Nebraska Medical Center is recruiting a dynamic physician for an ambulatory general Internal Medicine position located in Omaha, Nebraska. The selected candidate will join a team of specialists with many years of experience in complex cases, providing exceptional care for adults. Nebraska Medicine, our hospital partner, has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report for the past 20 years. This means we continue to be ranked as one of America's Best Hospitals and the top hospital in Nebraska.
Highlights of this opportunity include:
• Outpatient only - flexible scheduling (with two half days protected administrative/academic time). No nights or weekends. Infrequent outpatient telephone call.
• Gradual build up to manageable patient load in a team-based patient-centered medical home practice.
• Wide range of practice from annual checkups for young adults to chronic medical conditions.
• Collaborative culture and collegial environment with opportunities for personal and professional development.
• Preceptor supervision of students/residents in clinic is available if desired.
The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine.
Candidates should have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills along with enthusiasm for outpatient internal medicine. Our compensation package is extremely competitive.
