Position Summary Clinical EndocrinologistThe Division of Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, Nebraska is actively recruiting for a general endocrinologist. The individual will provide patient care with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. The rapidly growing division is highly recognized for clinical and basic research programs at UNMC and the Omaha VA Medical Center.The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. In addition to possessing excellent clinical, professional, and communication skills, the desired candidate should have experience in managing endocrine-related diseases, including diabetes management with knowledge of clinical practices and technologies, including, but not limited to insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring and all available diabetes medications.
