Position Summary The Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) for Genetics and Rehabilitation at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha is currently accepting applications for licensed psychologists in the Autism Diagnostic Clinic housed within the integrated Center of Autism Spectrum Disorders (iCASD). This is an open rank position (Rank DOQ) and anticipate hiring multiple faculty positions.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for participating in autism diagnostic evaluations within an interdisciplinary team, as well as mentoring and supervising predoctoral interns and post-doctoral fellows. Candidates will also have opportunities to coordinate and implement evidence-based treatment programs, such as parent training programs, social skills groups, and individualized therapy. The Autism Diagnostic Clinic is also part of the Autism Care Network (ACNet), which is focused supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their family through treatment and research. The position is most appropriate for candidates with strong interests in applied clinical research, as well as those interested in applying for internal and extramural funding. Funding is available for specialized training opportunities, such as training in, and establishing research reliability on, the ADOS-2. Candidates must be eligible for licensure as a psychologist in the state of Nebraska.

About iCASD:The department is a collegial group of researchers, educators and clinicians within a highly collaborative, interdisciplinary center. iCASD is a clinical leader in the region and provides diagnostic and treatment services for children and adults with a wide range of cognitive, social-emotional, behavioral, and physical disabilities.

We are housed within in a state-of-the-art, interdisciplinary facility, equipped and accessible to serve individuals with a diverse range of preferences and needs. We have up-to-date assessment tools to support best practices in autism diagnostic assessments (e.g., ADOS-2, STAT, BOSA). Spacious exam rooms with two-way mirror and closed circuit video software, team meeting rooms, and family consultation rooms.
