Position Summary The Department of Pathology & Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center invites applications for a faculty position as Director of Hematopathology. The successful candidate will lead a dynamic team of hematopathologists with clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities. The team supports state-of-the art multidisciplinary clinical care and benefits from state-of-the-art in-house flow cytometry, cytogenetics, and molecular diagnostics testing. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience, and candidates with clinical and academic administrative experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a track record of research in molecular hematopathology will be given priority. The successful candidate will hold an M.D., M.D./Ph.D., or equivalent degree, with board certification and subspecialty training and experience. The department is a rapidly growing academic practice with highly competitive compensation and opportunities for administrative responsibilities.
