Position Summary
The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) seeks fellowship-trained, board-certified cardiac anesthesiologists with NBE certification to provide clinical, teaching, and research faculty services to the Anesthesiology Department.
Faculty anesthesiologists supervise and educate residents, fellows, medical students and CRNAs. UNMC has an extremely active cardiac failure, structural and percutaneous programs to go with a growing adult congenital heart program. Cardiac service is currently staffed by 10 cardiac anesthesiologists, with case volume projected to double in next 3 years.
Required Qualifications
Medical degree and completion of anesthesiology residency.
