Key Responsibilities:
Patient Identification and Prescreening
- Review patient records and medical histories to identify potential candidates for research trials.
- Conduct initial patient prescreening to determine eligibility for various studies.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to manage and track patient recruitment efforts.
- Educate patients about ongoing and upcoming clinical research studies.
- Maintain effective communication with patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about the research.
- Provide clear and comprehensive information to help patients make informed decisions about participation in research trials.
- Assist in scheduling patient visits
- Work closely with research coordinators, investigators, and other healthcare professionals to support recruitment activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, prescreening results, and recruitment efforts.
- Prepare and submit reports as required for internal tracking and regulatory compliance.
- Registered Nurse (RN) or (LPN) with relevant clinical experience.
- Proven experience in clinical research or a related field, including patient recruitment and education.
- Strong medical knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications in clinical research or healthcare preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
