Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Recruitment Nurse to join our team!

This role is crucial in identifying, prescreening, and educating patients about clinical research trials. The ideal candidate will have a strong medical background, research experience, and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients and support our research programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Identification and Prescreening
  • Review patient records and medical histories to identify potential candidates for research trials.
  • Conduct initial patient prescreening to determine eligibility for various studies.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to manage and track patient recruitment efforts.
Patient Education
  • Educate patients about ongoing and upcoming clinical research studies.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have about the research.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive information to help patients make informed decisions about participation in research trials.
Study Coordination
  • Assist in scheduling patient visits
  • Work closely with research coordinators, investigators, and other healthcare professionals to support recruitment activities
Record Keeping and Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient interactions, prescreening results, and recruitment efforts.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required for internal tracking and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or (LPN) with relevant clinical experience.
  • Proven experience in clinical research or a related field, including patient recruitment and education.
  • Strong medical knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Relevant certifications in clinical research or healthcare preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
