NURSE PRACTITIONER, RADIOLOGY (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple University Hospital
As an advanced practice provider, this individual will work with the Radiologists to ensure that the patients get the appropriate follow-up studies that are needed to manage their health. This individual will review Radiology reports, talk with the patients, order additional studies, and communicate the results of those studies to the appropriate providers to provide additional care. They will be viewed as partners with the primary care physicians and the population health team, identifying ways to ensure that our patients receive the appropriate follow-up care for their health. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others, demonstrating concern for the patients privacy, comfort, and emotional state. Treats patient with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner. Education Masters Degree : Master of Science Degree in Nursing (Required) Bachelors Degree : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Required) Experience 1 Year experience in a clinical specialty practice (Preferred) 2 Years experience as a nurse practitioner (Preferred) General experience in Radiology (Preferred) Experience in an outpatient / ambulatory setting (Preferred) General experience with EPIC EMR (Preferred) License/Certifications CRNP - PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner (Required) RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License (Required) PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority (Required) BLS - Basic Life Support (Required) _ '275549
