YOUR ROLE
  • Establish existing and emerging reporting and accounting standards as well as key methodologies with respect to their impact on Henkel's strategic targets, its ability to manage risks and opportunities, as well as customer and investor needs, supported by analysis of Data and Methods Team
  • Develop relevant corporate Circularity accounting and target policies, reflecting Henkel's leadership ambitions and strategic business interests, in close cooperation with Data Team and BU's to ensure coherent targets and implementation
  • Own documentation of policies and develops wide reaching communication and training materials to deepen climate awareness and understanding across the business
  • Orchestrate the internal Circularity targets Governance and Steering; with the support of established roadmaps and action plans in interaction with relevant stakeholders
  • Liaise closely with the Reporting and Business Integration team to quantify business risks and value creation opportunities for Corporate Reporting and business integration
  • Engage in relevant external platforms to shape industry standards and methodologies and represents Henkels interests (in close collaboration with Data team and BU's) in relevant collaborations and events
  • Foster deep relationship with Data team to reflect policies in accounting methods and analytics and with reporting team to anticipate new reporting requirements
  • Work in gremia and engage in advocacy efforts to drive ESG initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work on ad-hoc projects and duties as required by management

YOUR SKILLS
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Strategy or Sustainability Management
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience with focus on sustainability, circular economy and/or project management
  • Knowledge of ISO and GRI standards, and circularity standards enabling adherence to internationally recognized frameworks for sustainability reporting and management
  • Strong project management skills incl. knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Agile) and project & program management tools (e.g. MS Project, Azure, DevOps etc.
  • Demonstrated track record in effectively documenting and reporting on various initiatives, including workshop preparation and moderation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated resilience in handling high-pressure situations and adapting to rapidly changing environments
  • A strong multi-tasker-capable of planning, organizing details while communicating effectively on all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence within a multi-matrix organizational structure, effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive initiatives forward
  • Proactive approach to decision-making and problem-solving, coupled with a hands-on mentality
  • Business Proficiency in English, German is a plus
