POSITION TITLE: Plumbing Instructor

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Faculty

DEPARTMENT: School of Trades

STARTING DATE: January 2024

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

● Minimum 4,000 hours of hands on experience in the plumbing trade. Plumbing Technician /

Apprenticeship Certification is desired.

● Evidence of professionalism and customer service commitment.

● Christian commitment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

● Evidence of experience mentoring apprentices.

● Associate's degree preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Southeastern University is launching SEU Trades, a brand new division committed

to developing a pipeline of talent to sustain the trades professions with skilled leaders for the future of the

The SEU School of Trades invites applications from energetic and creative professionals for an open

position in applied plumbing. Primary responsibilities will be the instruction of commercial and residential

plumbing techniques and professional skills in pre-apprenticeship and pre-certification programs. Special

consideration will be given to candidates that offer a background in mentorship, apprenticeship, and

discipleship backgrounds with a strong Christian commitment. Candidates must be committed to

excellence in the workplace and the Christian mission of Southeastern University.
