TheSection of Pharmacology at the University of Fribourg is looking for a motivated postdoctoral fellow to join a team that investigates the role hydrogen sulfide and related small diffusible gaseous mediators in various pathophysiological conditions. The scientific environment is dynamic and collaborative. The successful applicant will be able to expand their conceptual and technical horizon and to collaborate with leading groups worldwide.

Responsibilities:
- To conduct laboratory research in experimental biology, by integrating the approaches of pathophysiology, pharmacology, biochemistry and cell biology. To design and perform experiments and critically analyze and evaluate data. To write reports and publications. To present at scientific conferences.
Qualifications:
- PhD degree. Background in cell biology, biochemistry and/or pharmacology. Experience with rodent models. Strong English language skills. Background/expertise/interest in neuroinjury, neurodegeneration, aging, cellular signalling and/or cell metabolism is preferred.
