RESPONSIBILITIES:
Culture primary cells and continuous cell lines such as neutrophils, hematopoietic stem cells, immune cells, and/or relevant cell lines to support in vitro/ex vivo experiments.
Perform in vitro assays including various compounds screening assays and enzymatic assays.
Conduct molecular biology techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA, and western blot.
Utilize plate readers, fluorescence microscopy, and flow cytometry.
Perform data analysis using Excel, XLfit, FlowJo, and GraphPad Prism.
Maintain proper documentation of experimental procedures and results via an electronic laboratory notebook.
Write and review technical reports.
Present scientific results in internal research meetings.
Prepare and maintain a constant supply of reagents, buffers, and other materials to support on-going assays.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, or related discipline, or bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of pharmaceutical experience. The job title can be adjusted based on the candidate's experience.
Hands-on experience with cell culture and standard molecular biology assays, including enzymatic assays, flow cytometry, and western blot, is required.
Experience with data processing, analysis, statistics, and data interpretation is required.
Experience working with cellular imaging instruments, fluorescence microscopes, ELISA, and qPCR is a plus.
Experience working with immune cells and hematopoietic stem cells is a plus.
Experience with automated liquid handling is a plus.
