SALARY:

$102,727 to $130,000+ per year, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU's compensation plan. RVU's full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver curriculum for nurse anesthesia courses following program objectives and accreditation standards.
  • Supervise and mentor nurse anesthesia students in both clinical and academic settings, ensuring high standards of care and learning.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including but not limited to research, publications, and presentations in the field of nurse anesthesia.
  • Participate in program evaluation and continuous improvement efforts to meet and exceed accreditation standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and academic staff to promote an interdisciplinary approach to anesthesia education.
  • Stay abreast of current trends, techniques, and advancements in nurse anesthesia practice and education.
  • Participate in the assessment or evaluation of and provide feedback to other members of the faculty as a portion of the college's ongoing quality improvement and assessment program.
  • Attend DNAP Program faculty meetings, retreats, and accreditation-related events.
  • Responsible for helping the students select their topic and prepare doctoral work.
  • Attends a minimum of one state or national nurse anesthesia meetings yearly.
  • Participate in DNAP admissions interviewing process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and supporting the mission of the program and the university.
  • Maintains an active clinical practice.
