Assistant Professor of Psychology Social Psychology

The Department of Psychology at Ohio Wesleyan University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Social Psychology, starting in August, 2025. We are seeking candidates committed to excellent undergraduate teaching and to developing a vibrant research program that involves undergraduates of all experience levels and from diverse backgrounds, including those who are traditionally underrepresented in the sciences. Candidates with research experience in diversity, broadly defined (e.g., race, gender, sexual orientation, age, or social class) are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a departmental community with a wide range of research and teaching interests and will benefit from extensive support for junior faculty, including start-up funding, pre-tenure research leave, funding for student-faculty research collaboration via the Summer Science Research Program and The OWU Connection, and a range of workshops and mentoring programs.
