Position Summary
The Department of Human Nutrition, Hospitality and Sport Management, a thriving Department with a dedicated faculty, seeks to fill two full-time instructor positions in Sport Management, one starting as early as January 2025 and one beginning in the Fall 2025 semester.

Detailed Position Information
The Department is one of five in the College of Human Environmental Sciences and our recently launched Bachelor of Science in Sport Management is one of the fastest growing degree programs at The University of Alabama.

Teaching and service to articulate the mission of The University including:
* Teach courses at the undergraduate level. Examples of courses that the candidate may teach include, but are not limited to, the following: Introduction to the Sport Industry, Creating the Fan Experience, Sports Governance, Financial Issues in Sport, Sport Tourism, Sport Marketing and Promotion, Sales in Sport and Entertainment Operations, and Legal Issues in Sport Management.
* Recruit and mentor students.
* Academic advising for undergraduate students.
* Serve on Departmental, College, and University committees.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should have a strong background, training, and expertise in sport management.
* A minimum master's degree in Sport Management or related field is required.
* Evidence of successful teaching at the collegiate level.

Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of two years industry experience is preferred.
