The Breiner School of Nursing boasts high NCLEX pass rates and outstanding clinical experiences at all levels in partnership with regional health care providers. The Lock Haven Campus is accredited by ACEN and offers ASN and RN-BSN programs. The Mansfield Campus is accredited by ACEN and offers the BSN major.About the College: The Breiner School of Nursing is located within the College of Health, Science, and Technology (COHST). Instructional delivery can occur through online, in-person, and blended instructional methods on the main campus or at off-site educational locations. Voluntary summer/winter contracts may be available.The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service, and show potential for a productive research/scholarship program. Professional development support is available to support ongoing research and to obtain a doctoral degree.Qualifying Experience and Education (Minimum/Preferred)Minimum Qualifications:Earned Master of Science in Nursing and a commitment to achieve doctoral degree prior to tenure decision. Strong academic background and clinical expertise in the area of adult health nursing practice is required. Eligibility for PA RN licensure is required if a current PA license is not held.Preferred Qualifications:Earned doctorate in nursing or related field and experience teaching adult health nursing courses preferred. Scholarly activity in the form of research or professional service also preferred.
