Full-time, Muncie campus-based tenure-eligible faculty member at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor with appropriate nursing specialization to teach in undergraduate and/or graduate courses and conduct health research. Teaching assignments and locations vary. Rank and salary dependent on qualification. This is not a remote faculty position.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach online graduate nursing courses and/or undergraduate nursing courses. Undergraduate assignments may include classroom, simulation, laboratory-based, and/or clinical supervision/instruction.
- Incorporate current evidence-based research into classroom and clinical teaching.
- Participate in course and curricula development and evaluation.
- Conduct research and disseminate in peer reviewed publications and presentations at state, national, and/or international conferences; engage in scholarly activities; and apply for grant funding.
- Advise students on professional development and related activities.
- Contribute to the missions of the School of Nursing, College of Health, the University, the community, and the profession.
- Engage in professional development, may include serving on appointed School, College and /or University committees.
- Earned baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Earned master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Earned doctorate in nursing or a related field from an accredited institution by date of appointment.
- Clinical nursing experience in area of assigned teaching.
- Six months of nursing practice experience in the U.S.
- Ability to meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with diverse faculty, staff, and students.
- Ability to learn and use new technologies, software, and platforms.
- At least one semester (four months) of teaching experience in higher education, either gained concurrently or at any time.
- Ability to integrate technology in nursing education.
- Current clinical practice as an NP and national board certification.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and/or maintain a program of research.
