YOUR ROLE
- Understand the Purchasing setup, organization, rules and workflow and comply with it.
- Assist in various departmental projects as defined by Category Team Leader (CTL), creating and consolidating reference documents, spreadsheets, conducting various analysis.
- Support an effective project management, which includes plan, control and track activities and their deadline.
- Participate to modeling and creation of templates for the evaluation of Total Cost of Ownership and sensitive analysis vs different scenarios to apply to sustainability / net-zero projects / Utilities Equipment
- Assists the CTL to develop / revise purchasing strategy for the several baskets which compose the category and define execution.
- Support
management of selected sustainable supplier portfolio through:
- suppliers' identification and selection
- strategic supplier relationship
- discussion, negotiation of frame agreements
- Helps CTL and/or CTMs all his/her/their decisions on suppliers - Ensures cross fertilization of knowledge and best practices sharing inside the CT members (Regional CTMs, Global Basket leaders and experts) as well as within Stakeholders
- Gains and documents sustainably total value chain, industry and supply base insight/ knowledge for selected spend
- Conducts
periodical risk assessment and designs and manages adequate
countermeasures
for selected spend - Conduct periodical progress measurement of accuracy of information and data, intime delivery, audit conform documentation
YOUR SKILLS
- Student who successfully in business administration, supply chain/operations management, business informatics, or a related field
- Fluent English skills (strong international interaction), a second European language is required
- Knowledge of IT tools is mandatory (advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel)
- Knowledge of Power BI;VBA; Database and of an ERP system would be a plus
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills, within multidisciplinary departments as well as being an independent worker
- Analytical and strategical thinking
- Autonomous, with a flair for taking the right initiatives to move the project forward
- Interest in digital transformation, process improvement, cloud technology, data analytics and management
