YOUR ROLE
- Lead the monitoring and implementation of legal and global Occupational Health and Safety requirements, providing leadership and guidance to teams.
- Manage and ensure the execution of Process Safety Management systems, including HAZOP, and address fire and explosion risks effectively.
- Conducting special OHS projects in Ankara Plant in order to achieve OHS KPIs
- Drive improvement and development projects in Occupational Health and Safety, ensuring sustainable results.
- Oversee compliance with ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 Management Systems, and contribute to integrated system audits.
- Conducting workplace, process and job safety risk assessments
- Facilitating compliance to local and international legal requirements and Henkel SHE standards and procedures compliance for relevant locations
- Providing monthly basis safety reports to management and global reporting line
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance workplace safety and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or environmental engineering, MS Degree will be a plus
- Having minimum B Class Safety Certificate is required
- Min 5 years of experience preferably in Chemical, Petroleum, or Energy industries.
- Team leadership and project management experience preferred
- Good knowledge in process safety and management system documentation
- Having NEBOSH General Certificate is a plus
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Competent in problem-solving, analytical and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of people
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
