As
a member of the site leadership team, you will manage all aspects of site quality -
QA (Quality Assurance), QE (Quality Engineering) and QC (Quality Control) - to
ensure the effective implementation of, and ongoing compliance with customer
requirements, ISO 9001, and the relevant Henkel procedures.

- Implement, maintain and continually improve a site quality management system meeting the requirements of ISO 9001 and any additional sector-specific quality standard required by the business (e.g. IATF 16949, AS 9120, FSSC 22000), customer-specific requirements, and Henkel procedures.
- Lead (and participate in, as auditor) the integrated management system audit program for Seven Hills site and NSW-based suppliers, ensuring that a) the audit schedule is based on risk, whilst meeting the requirements of our customers and certified management system standards, and b) the schedule, auditor profiles and audit records are all maintained up to date.
- Oversee Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) system, driving continual improvement in both the process itself and, by working with other process owners and suppliers, the number of NCMRs.
- Coordinate Quality Notifications (QNs) for customer product complaints and NCMR cases, including off-specification batches, getting directly involved and taking the lead where required, to ensure timely and effective containment, investigations and countermeasures, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure through direct participation, coaching and subject matter expertise effective quality risk assessment, e.g., Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), processes.
- Ensure QC laboratory processes and deliverables are compliant with requirements, meet internal and external customer expectations, and remain reliable, independent, and of high integrity.
YOUR SKILLS
- Degree qualification in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or other related technical discipline.
- Experience in the chemical product, food, or related manufacturing environments.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or other related quality standards, and experience with integrated management systems (health, safety, environment, quality, energy, hygiene, etc.)
- Lead auditor qualification preferred.
- Experience being directly accountable for and managing people, processes and projects.
- Good interpersonal and influencing skills, with excellent verbal and written communication.
