Product Evaluation (Claim Support) Specialist

About this Position
Responsible for developing and validating the hair products (hair care, color, perm and styling) development claim support methodologies which mainly focus on "biophysical" measurements such as hair surface friction measurement, shine measurement etc.. but also responsible for qualitative visualization methodologies such as SEM/TEM.
Work closely with R&D team members and marketing department to best utilize the outcomes and developed methodologies for new product/service launches

What you'll do

• To clarify required support plan for key claims of products through discussions.(R&D/Mktg, both in English/Japanese)
• To get an alignment with stakeholders (Mktg, R&D, Others) for the support plans.
• To provide required data mainly by biophysical measurements with an appropriate testing design for product development.
• To create a technical experimental demonstration to show our product superiority and to demonstrate it to non-R&D members.
• Data analysis and report making (both in English/Japanese)
• Protocol/Method development with global team

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor/Master degree
• 3-5 years experience of product performance evaluation, instrumental (biophysical) measurements (method development/data collection/data analysis) and/or claim support/technical demonstration in FMCG company.
• Good writing and speaking skill in English and high fluency of Japanese
• Fundamental understanding of cosmetic and quasi drug regulatory affairs in Japan
