About this Position
A motivated Polymer Chemist with 2 years of industrial experience in research, development, and optimization of polymer-based materials. Skilled in designing innovative polymer formulations, process scaling, and delivering solutions tailored to industry requirements. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to commercialization. What you'll do

• Design and develop polymer-based products (e.g., coatings, adhesives, sealant etc.)
• Formulate new materials based on customer or market requirements and improve existing products
• Perform chemical and physical characterization of polymers using techniques such as FTIR, DSC, TGA, DMA and rheometer.
• Conduct mechanical, thermal, and environmental testing to ensure product quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with Application Engineers (AE) to customer trials and prototyping.
• Troubleshoot issues during scale-up and improve process efficiency.
• Manage multiple R&D projects, meeting milestones and deadlines.
• Prepare technical documentation, such as test reports, regulatory filings, and project summaries.
• Work with sales, marketing, and customer support teams to understand client needs and communicate technical solutions.
• Present findings and proposals to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
• Ensure materials meet industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM) and regulatory requirements (e.g., REACH, RoHS).

What makes you a good fit

• Minimum 2 years in an industrial R&D setting, preferably in product development for polymers adhesive, sealant, coatings, or related applications.
• Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
