Nursing Instructor

Job DescriptionJob Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse Instructor in Miami, FL. The Registered Nurse Instructor will be responsible for teaching on-line and on-campus a variety of Nursing courses, grading , precepting clinical rotations, creating/updating classes and syllabi, and, collaborating with field professionals to ensure high-quality student outcomes and success on licensure examinations.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license ( Required )
• Experience teaching allied health (PCTs, HHAs/CNAs, Phlebotomists, and Nursing students) (Required )
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Nursing/medical procedures and Education standards of teaching
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Spanish (at a professional level- Required )
• Ability to prepare lesson plans, syllabi and follow Higher Education Standards
• Compassionate attitude and attention to detail
• Capability to work in a team and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and keep accountability
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's Degree preferred )
• CPR certification
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred (at least 2 years preferred)
• Experience in educational setting with Class preparation, Teaching and Clinical Precepting (at least 2 years)
• Experience with SIM/Labs and Clinical settings (preferred)
